CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to participation in the Treasury & Finance Convention of Schwabe, Ley & Greiner GmbH (organizer). For better readability of personal names & personal words, the masculine form is used. These terms apply to all genders.

1. object

The contractual relationship between the organizer and the participant is limited exclusively to the possibility of ordering home tickets - i.e. admission tickets that the customer prints out himself - for events via the Internet in accordance with the following conditions. No liability is assumed for the correctness of the event data contained in the online presence of the organizer. Information can be changed at any time and without prior notice.

The exhibition regulations from the organizer as well as the house rules of the respective venue must be observed when entering the event. Home tickets may only be purchased from the official website.

2. conclusion of contract

By clicking on the field "Bezahlvorgang / Payment" the customer makes an offer to the respective organizer. The offer is considered accepted by the organizer when the organizer confirms receipt of payment visually or by e-mail. Thereby the contract is considered as concluded.

The customer is not entitled to reproduce or modify Hometickets. Reproduction is punishable by law and will be reported to the police. If copies of a home ticket appear, the original ticket also becomes invalid and no longer entitles the customer to admission, unless the customer is not at fault for the existence of the copies.

The participation fee is per person including VAT.

With the registration confirmed by the organizer you are entitled to the following services:

      • Visit to the accompanying trade exhibition
      • Participation in all program items listed in the agenda.
      • Detailed congress documentation (online/offline)
      • Catering on the three congress days
      • Refreshments at designated food service areas.
      • Participation in the welcome evening on Wednesday
      • For trade visitors* the Austrian Night is also included, as long as seats are available.

3. right of modification and payment

    1. The payment of home tickets is cashless by invoice or credit card. If for any reason payment has not been received into our accounts prior to the event in question, the organizer reserves the right to block the relevant passes for the event and to deny access.
    2. The organizer has the right to make minor changes to the event and/or its content, insofar as this is reasonable for the participant.

4. cancellation and cancellation

    1. Cancellation of participation in the event must be made in writing. Cancellation of registration is possible free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the event, after which 50% of the participation fee will be charged. In case of cancellation on the day of the event or no-show, the entire participation fee will be charged. Of course, a substitute person can be sent or a rebooking can be made up to 2 weeks before the start of the event.
    2. The organizer is entitled to cancel the event up to one month before the start of the event if the required minimum number of exhibitors is not reached. The organizer will inform the participants immediately. Any participation fees already paid will be refunded to the participant. Further claims of the participant are excluded.
    3. The organizer is entitled to terminate the participation extraordinarily in case of violation of essential obligations if the participant is in default of his financial obligations towards the organizer.
    4. If the organizer cannot carry out the event as planned due to a circumstance of force majeure, both parties are released from their obligation to perform. Claims for damages are excluded in this case.
    5. The organizer will inform the contracting party immediately if the event cannot be held due to a circumstance of force majeure.
    6. Force majeure shall be deemed to include, in particular, official orders that prohibit the staging of the event or make it dependent on compliance with conditions that make it difficult to hold the event economically, for example due to restrictions on the number of participants.

5. personalized tickets and the printout

Home tickets are delivered electronically by e-mail as a PDF file to the e-mail address of the purchaser.

Home tickets are personalized and non-transferable. They are only valid for the holder whose surname and first name are printed on the ticket. Proof of identification, e.g. an ID card, driver's license or passport, may therefore be requested at the event's access control. Each home ticket is checked electronically for validity.

The printout of the Home Tickets must be made with a laser or inkjet printer with at least 300 DPI resolution on white DIN A4 paper in legible quality as a color or black-and-white printout. The use of Acrobat Reader is required for printing.

6. liability

    1. The organizer is not liable for damages caused by transmission errors, technical failures, interruptions due to maintenance work or other malfunctions.
    2. The Treasury & Finance Convention is prepared and conducted by qualified speakers. The organizer assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the content.
    3. The organizer is not liable for damages caused by measures taken to maintain safety and order. If, as a result of a misjudgement of risks, the event is restricted, cancelled or broken off on the instructions of the organizer, the organizer is not liable for cases of simple negligence.
    4. The organizer has liability insurance for its legal liability. In all other respects, the general insurance provisions for liability insurance (AHB) apply. The liability insurance exclusively covers damages to third parties. The insurance cover does not extend to fringe events that are not organized by the organizer.

7. hygiene concept

The participant is obligated to implement and adhere to a hygiene concept provided by the organizer, which the organizer may also adapt before and during the event at its own discretion if necessary, insofar as this is required to take into account the applicable legal and official requirements and which may also, insofar as it is reasonable for the participant, go beyond any legal (minimum) requirements.

8. note on photo, film and sound recordings

We would like to point out that under certain circumstances photographs, film and/or sound recordings will be made during the event. These recordings are associated with the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is random. A presentation of the images will be made on the Internet (e.g. on the website of the organizer or the congress website), in print media and social media channels. By entering the event rooms, the consent of the person present to the gratuitous publication in the aforementioned manner is given, and this without the need for an explicit declaration by the person concerned. If the person in question does not agree to the publication of his or her person in individual cases, we request that he or she notify the photographer or cameraman responsible immediately.

If the person in question does not agree with a specific publication of a photographic representation of him or her, please notify us immediately by e-mail, telephone or post, stating the exact name of the image in question. In this case, the image will be removed within a reasonable period of time and will no longer be published.

The organizer prohibits any film or sound recordings on the part of the participants (e.g. via cell phone), as unauthorized recordings are copyright infringements of the speakers.

9. data security and data protection

The organizer uses a secure transmission procedure (SSL) for the transmission of customer and payment data. This is to achieve the highest possible security standard.

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions and inform you in this data protection declaration about our practices to protect your personal rights.

10 Applicable law

Austrian law shall apply exclusively to the exclusion of the conflict of laws rules of private international law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
