The Czech Association of Treasury (CAT) was founded at the beginning of 2001. CAT was accepted as an IGTA member in 2002 and has been an active member of the EACT from 2005. The principal aims of the Association are to publicise and develop the treasury profession, while becoming the leading authority on questions of treasury development and risk management within the financial framework of corporations. CAT is also a recognised authority in the area of corporate management in the Czech Republic. CAT co-operates with commercial banks and companies concerning the treasury systems. The Board of the Association support activities for financials professionals, especially those working for the top 100 corporations in the Czech Republic. We have 130 registered members.
