Evolution of the financing structure: professionalization as the basis for stable corporate development

Description
A company's financing structure usually goes through various phases of "evolution". This development is crucial in order not to inhibit company growth and to support the professionalization of the finance function in the best possible way. Smaller companies often have a large number of different bilateral contracts, some of which have very short or "baw" terms. The contracts are often concluded in different companies within the Group, which makes it almost impossible to treat lenders equally.

We would like to use a practical example to illustrate the challenges and limitations of such a financing structure. We will then outline what the further "evolution" of this financing structure could look like and how to get there.
